6TH DAY : YAMAGIWA SOFT

Back to the hotel for a quick brush up and then off we go to Tokyo’s top Thai restaurant for another truly extraordinary meal and some pretty deep discussion before we head back to the hotel bar to discuss where this week’s activities have left us, the way forward and the nature of the much talked about stop gap release for Japan prior to the beginning of the recording of a new GPS opus early in 2008.

We all go our separate ways and arrange to meet tomorrow for the journey out to Narita and the flight home. What a week…..!

5TH DAY : SHOWTIME!

The whole of today was given over to tonight’s acoustic performance at Dress, Tokyo with John & Guthrie interpreting the entire ‘Window To The Soul’ album acoustically in quite brilliant fashion – ‘The Objector’ in particular needs to be heard to be believed and although I didn’t actually see it myself, at east one particularly emotional individual was reduced to tears by ‘New Jerusalem’.

5TH DAY : SHOWTIME!

John was in magnificent voice and Guthrie in breathtaking form. Hopefully, you’ll get to see and hear at least some of this stunning one of a kind performance at some point in the future.
