2ND DAY : OSAKA

Osaka is Japan's second city and lies to the south of Tokyo. The train journey is undertaken in extreme comfort and there was lots of time for idle chat, joking and some interesting fact learning - ask Guthrie ate Beckinsale sometime. Once we arrived in Osaka - which , unlike Tokyo, was bathed in warm sunshine - it was a short taxi ride to an extraordinarily plush hotel and the interview with DJ Takash, who we quickly learn is a big fan of the band. His questions surprise John and it leads to some pretty lengthy answers.
