7TH DAY: HOMEWARD BOUND

And so it comes to an end. Guthrie flew out to the UK this morning and John and Robin flew back to LA late this afternoon, bringing an amazing week to a close.

On a professional level, the highlights would have to be the Burrn! interview, Guthrie's time at Young Guitar, meeting Lucy Kent at Music Air TV, the Saturday in store performance at Yamagiwa soft and, of course, Friday night's show. Although it was filmed on three cameras and recorded from the desk, it seems unlikely at this point that any of this will ever see the light of day, which is a real pity.

On a purely personal level, there are too many highlights to attempt to list here. Just spending time with John, Guthrie and the lovely Robin was a pure joy. I have done many trips of this ilk in my time, but very few of them have ever been this much fun or so productive.
